Thankful for my eldest daughter who is celebrating her 32nd birthday today.
That my sister's scan came back with the biggest tumor shrunk by 4 cm and the other only grew by 1 cm.
That there is something I can take for my allergies.

1. My annual physical came out well. A couple of tests are still to come in but everything else is good.
2. I'm so thankful to have found a family doctor I can trust and enjoy. I love the fact that on her office wall is an ABC quilt with the family names of babies she has delivered in the community.
3. DS who is graduating mid-May has two good job offers!

Happy Friday

1.) After seeing Jeff Bauman, who was seriously injured in the Boston bombing, and lost both of his legs, and nonetheless woke up and identified the terrorists, I'm blessed with both leg.

2.) I'm blessed to be able to "talk" with all of you, even though we're miles and miles apart. So I guess I'm actually blessed to have the internet, because with out it, I wouldn't know any of you or so many others around the world. I love "talking" to every one and being able to be part of their life story and view other's thought and opinions.

3.) I'm blessed to have a stormy grey day to relax and enjoy life. Once a Seattle girl, always a Seattle girl!

You must do the thing you think you cannot do

Im blessed to have coffee, coffee, coffee to keep me energized. LOL. My hubby and I are winding down our moving/packing. This past week coffee was a friend to both of us!
Annika, I second that blessing concerning Jeff Bauman. God Bless him.

1) Feeling all squeaky clean from a hot shower after a busy morning...
2) The wind rustling through the trees, because when I close my eyes and listen, it sounds like waves crashing on the seashore...and suddenly, I'm home again...
3) The nutty squirrel out back whose antics transform our dear old girl into a puppy again, even if only for a few moments...

I am glad my daughter likes to clean house! Otherwise, right now, this house couldn't be walked through.

2 beautiful days to get more garden worked and planted. Then rain to water those seeds!

A good tiller that starts on the 1st pull every time. I love it.

1) Tripping over muddy man boots in the hazy gray of early morning
2) A sticky peanut-buttered knife resting on the crumb-dusted, juice-smeared counter
3) Smelly, dirty laundry waiting for me in a basket on the floor

(In other words... my blessings are my guys!)

Thankful for the reminder that I'm a happy girl with just what I have. Listening to my sil's friends at a party talk about all their money and expensive houses they're building, their diamond engagement rings, being golf widows and all the trappings of wealth makes me realize that it just ain't where it's at folks (for me, anyway).

For the lovely conversations my little girl and I have--she makes me laugh like none other.

For family.

2. my front porch (again, a place of peace)
3. our vets, who we trust to care for our pets and farm animals, especially today as one gets surgery.
