My hubby and I bought a house in the Texas Hill Country last month. We Closed on the house on March 20th, our anniversary day. We're in the process of finishing up with all the packing and closing a business. We thought by the first of April we would be in Texas. The business closing will take a little more time. We plan to be in Texas by the end of April. However, I will be going there to bring boxes, check on things, turn on electricity and water, etc...
I cannot be without my MaryJanes forum and the farmgirls!! I'll have my computer with me, so I will continue to read the postings and post when I can. I may go missing for a few days, especially toward the end of April, but I will return as soon as I can.
I couple of my farmgirl sisters asked why I haven't been posting as before, so this is why.

You will love the Hill country. A favorite spot of Texans. Have you found the Salt Lick Barbecue place yet? It is a must place to eat.

Marly,

Please, can I come to? I can sleep on the porch or in a tree house. I need a change of scenery. To much cold and to much snow here in Indiana. LOL!

All kidding aside, this is wonderful news for you and hubby. Congratulations! Please send me your new address as soon as you can.
What an adventure. Like Laurie, I will also be praying for a smooth move and ask the Lord to keep his arms around you for safe keeping.
This is going to be so much fun. Sounds like a dream come true. Also, the fact that you closed on your wedding anniversary, now you know that is a good omen! God works in mysterious ways. Pretty awesome I would say!
Post when you can! Of course Big Buzz and I will be checking on you.
You wouldn't happen to have room for him and all of his new mice friends in your suitcase would you? LOL! Aw, gee, I would miss him. LOL!

You are going to have so much fun decorating and getting everything just perfect in your farmgirl way. Remember we all love you!

Hugs and Blessings to you, hubby and the new home. Watch out Texas!

Thanks for the prayers, Laurie. I will still be on MJF until the end of April. Maybe not as much as I'd like, but... Between April 29 and May 10th, I'll be super busy. But, as soon as things settle I will be back posting as usual. I cannot be away from my farmgirls. Hugs to you, Laurie.
Patsy, my youngest sister lives in the HIll Country. I have heard of the Salt Lick BBQ place, but never ate there yet! I'll let you know when we do.
Debbie: Yes, you can most certainly come with me! I'll need a lot of help around April 30th and on. Thanks for the prayers. I did send you my now address and my new address just yesterday. If you didn't receive my email, please let me know.
Thanks, Amy. If you're ever around the Hill Country, let me know. We can have lunch or just get together.

Well how exciting for you! I was just talking to a friend the other day I hadn't seen in awhile. He and his wife have talked about buying a place in the Texas hill country too. They haven't yet but still might. I love Texas. I always said I need to live there is a big wide open space so I won't hurt myself all the time bumping into things.

Can't wait to see pictures. Marly. Is it with acerage? I bet it's just beautiful anywhere it is. I wish you and your husband many happy years there together.

Thanks farmgirls!
Grace: What a sweet message. Thank you.
Kris: We'll have 2 1/2 acres. Plenty for us.
Jenne: I'm so busy with the packing and all, I don't have time to feel the excitement. But--I know things will change to excitement when I'm there.
Kelly: Is Pipe Creek near San Antonio?
CJ: Thanks for the prayers.
