I think a "pop" of color (such as blue) would look great on your walls and leave the cabinets white. Accent with other bright colors. I know that doesn't solve the problem of the white cabinets getting dirty, but may you could seal them with something. Or, put coordinating colors on both the cabinets and the walls. I LOVE COLOR!
