My Nubian doe, Nana kidded on Saturday, two days early. Had to help each one, they did not present correctly. But all three babies, two does and one buck, are doing fine. Mom is slowly recovering and is not up to milking enough to feed three, so I thank the Lord above that I had plenty of milk frozen from last year.

Sooo Cute. I just love baby pictures. Two girls and a boy, WOW! We pray for all girls around here, boys just don't milk well. Our Nigieran Dwarves are due the end of February.

What beautiful little faces. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us. Happy they are all doing fine, and take care of their Mom.

As of this morning, Nana (mom) is milking better. Hard deliveries are always hard on them and thus sort of slow things down. But, she is eating her normal ration of grain and eating hay. She will get there. The babies are doing fine, eating more and more each day and are now on every 6 hour feedings. They will stay at this schedule till they are at least one month old. Then go down to every eight hours. Now I am just waiting on a doe that was due before Nana to deliver, if she doesnt soon, the next doe will possibly go before her too... Just goes to show, you can never predict what will happen in the goat world! :)

Penny kidded this morning on her own, with no help from me. 2 does and one buck. The does weigh 5 and just under 6 pounds and the buck weighs close to 9 pounds!! Super BIG boy. I will post pics as soon as I can, and when they are dried off and can stand!! :D

Sweet Pea kidded this morning, a bit of some issues not to bad, though. She had a buck and a doe. The buck looks just like his sire and the doeling looks just like mom. Buck weighed in at just shy of 8 1/2 pounds, the doeling is 5 3/4 pounds. Not to bad for a FF.. Will post pics when they are dried and fed.

Wow Jennifer, they are coming fast and furious! And so flippin' adorable too. So 5 does and 3 bucks so far. Not bad at all. I can't wait to see what we get here. Mine just seem to have so many bucks. But I have my fingers crossed for the Lamancha does to have doe kids. The others can have bucks. But I would like to make a little money selling pure bred Lamancha does this year.

I hope the other doe has nice healthy kids soon.

Penny's kids are out in the kid pen in the barn. These two are Sweet Peas, the brown one is the buck and the black is the doeling. Born this morning.

Good grief. You have been so busy! Do they usually all come at once like this? Is it just tremendous planning on your part or what? I have no experience with goats, but the nubians are my favorites. They are so sweet looking. Will you keep all the babies? There is such a big difference in weight amongst the siblings. I just love the photos.
