Sally,
I got your beautiful, crisp block today. Love the pattern. Maybe next year we can use that pattern and different fabrics? Maybe use all soft blues like you did. The colors you used are beautiful.
Good job, girl.

Toni Love the Block. What kind of embroidery machine do you have I am thinking about getting one. I really don't need one but I love the flair it gives quilts.

Wow! That was fast. I have a used Pfaff embroidery/sewing machine. I didn't need one either, but my sister and I
got such a good deal on them, we bought one. We are actually thinking about selling them, because after its all said
and done, I really don't use the embroidery that much.

The more I think about it, I think we could all use the same block pattern and decide on a color, then use what is in our stash and see what we come up with. That way the quilts will be unified.

Yes! It doesn't matter to me either on the blocks...all the same or different.

Wow....looks like it's a swap within a swap! LOL

I'll be watching for the thread!

Hi Toni, I got your block today Love it, The embroidery is beautiful. I wish I had a machine to do that. So many beautiful blocks from the ladies on here. Now I need to lay them out to decide how to put my quilt together. I have some blocks from a spring quilt block swap on here a couple years ago that I didn't put together yet, I'll use them also to make a quilt for our bed. It will be lovely and every day I'll think of all the wonderful ladies on here when I look at my quilt.

I am totally in on the next swap! I think the idea of all of us using the same block would make a really beautiful quilt.

I feel a new addiction come on! Ha!

Diana, sounds perfect. I am going through my stash now.
Toni, got your beautiful block today. Funny comment about Hemet, it is a new kind of squash. (haha) Or maybe I could be a tailor and shorten your skirt for you. I will hem-it.

Here is a pattern on that site that I liked.
It is Star Flower and looks easy and could be used many ways.

The Star Flower block is easy, that's one of the blocks I used in a quilt I just made for my Grand Daughter for Christmas. Each of the Grand Children will be getting a quilt from me this year. Can't wait to see which block and colors we will be using.
