One of my favorite quotes comes from a conversation between Charlie Calvin and his stepdad, Neil, from the movie, "The Santa Clause:"

"Charlie: Have you ever seen a million dollars?"

"Neil: No."

"Charlie: Just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist."

I think little Charlie is just brilliant! :)

I've posted about my favorite book many times. Here is one quote from the book that I absolutely love. Enjoy!
"My life feels like a book left out on the porch, and the wind blows the pages faster and faster, turning always toward a new chapter faster than I can stop to read it." Nancy E. Turner, "These Is My Words"
If you haven't read this book, I recommend it. It is my favorite book of all times. And- it has two sequels.

"Grandma said...when you come on something that is good, first thing to do is share it with whoever you can find; that way, the good spreads out to where no telling it will go."
Forrest Carter, "The Education of Little Tree". I love this book, and I love that quote.

Nini,
I love the Santa Clause movie too. I watch at least 4 or 5 times each year.
My favorite line from the movie is:
Seeing isn't believing, Believing is seeing.
I think that is very true.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

There is a sentence in Edgar Allan Poe's poem, ANNABELL LEE, that says..."We loved with a love that was more than love." I love that poem.
