My beauty secret is I try not to look in the mirror. My mirror must
have ridges in it, because each time I would look in my mirror, it would appear that I had ridges on my face. (Surely your not thinking I might be looking at wrinkles are you?) LOL! Just teasing you.
Truth..I don't know if it is helping, but I use Oil Olay. I wish I
could buy it by the drum size, so I could sit my whole body in it.
Also before I go out in the elements, I lotion up my face and neck with it.
I also use a lot of different Aveeno products. I have very sensitive skin. Thanks to mother nature and menopause. YIppeee!

Eye cream, eye cream, eye cream, eye cream, eye cream, eye cream, eye cream.
Also, as an adult who has terrible combination skin, and who breaks out both due to sensitivity, hormones, a full moon, whatever, I strongly recommend Philosphy cleansers and Hope in a Bottle moisturizer. I'll be 40 next year and I'm asked for my ID whenever I buy wine. Wherever I go. At first I thought it was a fluke, but nope, asked for it everywhere--used to not be that way and I'm giving full credit where credit is due--Philosophy.
Also, drink water, water, water, water, water, water, water. It's as important as a good eye cream!!!

I agree with Jonni. Lots of water.
I also use a skin machine to exfoliate my facial skin, and I still use Dove soap. Keeps my skin youthful. No wrinkles here, but I'm only 61, so maybe it isn't time yet.

Water, fruit, salmon, veggies, sunscreen, sleep. Also, I don't use fabric softener. My skin reacts unhappily to towels treated with that junk. Haven't bought any in years. For cleansing, I use Cetaphil liquid soap, very mild and cleans throughly. For mild daily exfoliation in the morning, I add a little baking soda from a shaker I keep on the sink.

Great advice farm sisters. I love the bit about not looking in the mirror! I have tried Oil of Olay and thought it worked for a while, but sometimes I think skin creams are a lot like shampoo in that after a while the hair/skin gets resistant and needs a change. I have never tried the Philosphy brand or exfoliating with baking soda (thrifty idea). Right now I am using Strivectin products. The jury is still out since I haven't been using them long enough. I do agree that eye cream is very important. That's my biggest problem --- the eye area. I'm a side sleeper and that makes those nasty creases by the eyes even though I sleep on a silk pillow and case. I know I haven't been drinking enough water lately, so I need to do more of that. I have disrupted sleep and need to work on improving that as well. Wish someone would ask me for my ID. Must be nice to look so young!

Rosemary, I agree that a meaningful smile on a women is beautiful. Debbie, Being 58, I appreciate your advice with the mirror. My advice? Try facial oil. It's not greasy. My favorite is Classic Rose Facial Oil from Mountain Rose Herbs. In fact all there products are wonderful. In winter, I like to experiment with making different lotions and creams. I just made one with coconut oil, honey, sweet almond oil and elderflower water (I poured boiling water over dried elderflowers, let it sit till it had cooled, then strained it. Added just a touch of borax to the water to help it set. I'm still waiting on it to set up. Anyone else like to make their own lotions?
