Hi Sisters, Wow, I was lucky to have been able to visit Germany for a month. (My husband had 330 vacation hours on the books!) We had a wonderful time, but I remember seeing photos and reading posts from you about the free borrow book nooks many use. I was glad to see they are active in Germany too. The two photos I posted are in Uberlingen, on the Lake of Constance in Southern Germany. What a wonderful place. No, I will resist posting photos of the bakeries and bread, they were very impressive. Have good days! Annie

"The turnings of life seldom show a sign-post; or rather, though the sign is always there, it is usually placed some distance back, like the notices that give warning of a bad hill or a level railway-crossing." Edith Wharton, 1913 from 'The Custom of the Country'. |

Hi Again, My DH and I are vacationing in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and I came across another neighborhood free Public Book Nook. This time it is in the Shared Harvest Community Garden in a wonderful older established neighborhood. Their gardens are so amazing unto themselves and then voila, before my eyes the cutest Book Nook. Enjoy the photo! Annie
Darn, I am having trouble attaching photo. Sorry, I will work on it and try to edit post.
