Hello ladies
I was just wondering what you all bring to potlucks? all of my friends have "signature" dishes and I don't...I was hoping that I could "borrow" one from one of the great cooks out there ....you!!! thanks, Mella

If I am to bring a main dish I usually bring chicken enchiladas (recipe from the Heart of the Home Susan Branch cookbook) if a salad I bring chinese chicken salad or a veggie dip, if a dessert I like to bring applesauce cake.

While this might not be a dish you'd want to bring right now, given the recent spinach scare, this is a sure fire winner of a salad...

Spinach
Purple onion, sliced in rings
White mushrooms, sliced
Tomatoes - either sliced or small grape tomatoes
Strawberries, sliced - must be fresh and firm and add to salad right before serving

Drizzle with raspberry viniagrette or other sweet dressing... can also be served with a lime juice and oil dressing. Serve with lime-chili croutons for garnish.

Sometimes I'll add feta cheese, cut into cubes and then tossed into the salad.
