We haven't checked with our supplier yet for this year's prices but we were already paying the price which is higher for you this year. I'm hoping that we do not have an increase, especially since I'm no longer employed! Perhaps I'll call them tomorrow and check on it. CJ

$3.50 a bag here in Idaho but we also have a manufacturer less than 50 miles away. I do NOT like our pellet stove it is very dirty it seems to blow out lots of dust. But the oil stoves are going to be VERY expensive this year.
We have a wood burning stove and a corn/wood pellet burner. They are at opposite ends of the house for heat.
I agree - dusty and dirty, but still cheaper than using electric baseboard heat - $600-900/month. We have the highest electric in our county, and when we moved in these baseboard heaters were installed the day prior. The house had no furnace or heating system in it other than the wood burning stove.
