Hi all,

Just checking in to say hi. I'm a farm girl in north Idaho, wife to an amazing military man, mom of one human kid (my 3.5 yr old budding farm girl) and a bunch of animal kids, and... I guess I'm just looking for my tribe. :) Over the last few years, I've ramped up my efforts to learn useful skills and traditional (lost?) arts, and look forward to earning myself some merit badges!

Anyone know if any of the Palouse-area chapters are active? I always have a heck of a time finding women with shared interests around here, which seems crazy given the area.

Best,

Laurel

Live in Spokane Valley and work in northern Idaho, including an occasional stint on the Palouse in Worley. I LOVE the Palouse, especially places like Kamiak Butte. The colors and textures when you're heading through the farmlands is amazing...

Welcome!

Hi, Darlin'! I'm new too, and love it already. I too want to earn merit badges! What fun!
Sorry I'm not closer...but my dad used to spend summers in Idaho back in the 1950's working in the logging and forestry industry. He hasa great story about a porcupine that chewed his boots at night...:0)
