My sister sent me to this site and I cannot believe I never found it on my own.

I am a locavore and strongly believe in supporting the small town I live in first (Creswell, pop. 5,300) and then expand my spending to the greater county, valley and state. One step at a time.

I believe in feeding my family real food, from the earth, raised or grown by people I meet face-to-face. Hardly anything in my pantry is in a box....except things like baking powder, of course.

We also approach our overall health and medicine much the same way. Natural, from the earth, not from a laboratory.

Looking forward to sharing with this little community of like-minded women.

-Susie

Hi Susie and fellow Oregoner! Yes this a swell group of dynamic women, and it sounds as if you already fit right in. Is Creswell where the Lilac gardens are? I've often thought of stopping on my way to Portland. Have a lovely weekend and again, welcome.

Hi there! I'm new too, and I love it already! My mom grew up in Astoria, and my dad graduated from high school in Reedsport. I was born on the East Coast, but my parents still miss the West Coast! I think it gets in the blood!
