Thank you Kathy, for my precious apron (black with hen/chick patterned trim) and my jelly made from your old wine. Can't wait to try it. Yours in going out tomorrow. Hope everyone is fine from Issac.

Texas arrived on my doorstep today! Thank you Betsy for the Awesome package!!!! A beautiful mug with Texas bluebells on it, Salsa for a little tex-mex, cinnamon honey which is just divine, Texas dishclothes, Hope pourri and local soap from soap hope, which I absolutely love the concept of, helping lift women from poverty, the star of Texas christmas ornament and the 1 item I am fighting my grandsons over a Texas longhorn cookie cutter, they aren't football fans, but they are little cowboys :) and the very best thing of all, a wonderful long letter telling me about each item. Thank You again Betsy, each and every item was chosen with so much care and I love it.

Linda! Thank you for sending all those wonderful goodies with the articles on the history behind each! AWESOME!!! I can't wait to try the chicken chili soup - WOW! Sounds delicious! And the boys have been eye-ing up the Cherry Almond Crunch Orchard Bar, the the cashews and the candies, but I waited for them to leave the room and put them in a hidden stash to enjoy when I find time to enjoy them all by myself! :) I really appreciate all you did to make sure this was such a fun swap - THANK YOU!!! You ROCK, Farmgirl!!!

Sue - had a quick question, and shot you an email today. Did you get it? If not, please email me as soon as you get a chance. Thanks!

Hugs -

Nini, you are so welcome and I'm glad everything arrived ok.
Had so much fun putting your package together. Sue, this was
a great idea and interesting to learn about the locally made
items each of us farmgirls are exchanging. I love learning
about the different local specialties and the history behind
them.

This is the sound of me groveling and apologizing in public to Netty for being late with her package. *grovel grovel* I have explained the situation to her, but it is now in the mail and speeding its way to her!

You can all slap me with wet noodles if you like.

I recieved Netty's package right on time and love all the cute items in it from around where she lives. Very lovely handmade items! Some soap, scrubby washcloths and a kitchen towel with crocheted trim!

Thank you so much!

My apologies to everyone. I signed up for this swap and have my stuff ready but somehow I didnt find out who my partner was or didn't see it for looking. I'm really not sure. I have emailed Sue again in hopes of getting the confusion straightened out and hope to hear from her soon. I thought I had somehow just been overlooked and not given a partner until I received such a delightful package of goodies today from Darlene.

Darlene I love the items you sent and am munching the tiramisu-cappucino popcorn right now. Yum. I've not tasted the cheese or the prickly-pear jalapeno jam yet but I am thinking that they might just be scrumptious together along with some Virginia ham and Breton wheat crackers! Since I noticed that you had another partner on here (Karen?) I wasn't sure then do I send my package back to Darlene or someone else.

Once again I do apologize. I feel so thick headed about now and I do have my goodies. I don't want anyone to be slighted so as soon as I hear back from Sue who I'm supposed to send my package to for sure they will be mailed immediately.

Debbie, Thanks for all the great goodies you sent! I love the yummy peach jam, the peach iced tea soap smells so great. I can't wait to try the mile high tea. The Midwest Living magazine was so much fun to read, too. Thanks so much for being such a great partner.

Neither can I Sue. Debbie always sends the neatest treasures from Alaska. She is my penpal/friend and always sends great treasures. My dogs love her too as she sends them Salmon treats.
Love this swap and hope you will do it again Sue, it is so much fun. My partner is also my penpal/friend, she is from Missouri as am I, even though I live in Colorado now. I am looking forward to what Missouri treats Deanna sends me. I love farmgirl mail!
Hugs,
Debbie

I received the most wonderful package from Nini today! Inside was
a jar of the tastiest jam I've ever tried. It is raspberry from a local
berry farm. She also enclosed a fantastic book on the history of
her town (I'm a history buff so I'm really going to enjoy that),
also enclosed was the most darling open hands milk glass dish from
the Westmoreland Glass Company in her area. It is so unique, can't
wait to use it for holiday and special times as a candy dish. She
even included some Sarris S'Mores marshmallow & Graham Cracker
covered milk chocolate bars....mmmm...sooo good! Loved all the
postcards and and information about the Sand Hill Berrie farm and
orchards which also sell fruit wines. Thank you ever so much Nini
for your fabulous package!

Sue - this is a wonderful, wonderful swap! Thank you! I hope we will all get to do another again in the future!

I'm so glad you like to sew so I could share the buttons! We took a little train trip up to Denali where I found those buttons.
I recieved your package and as soon as I have time to sit and savor I will open it! Anticipation!
Debbie you are too sweet! What is cherry mash? I'll answer your letter soon!
