Does anyone use those plastic BPA Free reusable canning lids? I first saw them in Lehman's magazine and I'm really interested in them.

Has anyone used them? Are they worth the investment?

Tattler lids.... awesome! Expensive start up. But reusable indefinitely. There is a knack to it, but once you get in the groove, so worth it in the end. Keep an eye out because I picked up my first box of 100 and 100 small lids for half price and my second box for a significant discount.

Do what you love, love what you do.

Tattler actually had the discount sale a month or two ago. The first one was through one of those daily discount websites- kind of like groupon. It's definitely cheaper to buy the bulk set through Tattler than to buy the little boxes in the store.

Do what you love, love what you do.

I sell Tattler canning lids on my website. We only sell things that we use ourselves and I love these lids. I am working on three years with my original lids and I sometimes use them 2 or 3 different times a year. We can a lot of the fish that we catch up here in our mountain lakes..... it comes out WONDERFUL! The lids are just as easy to use as regular metal lids.

We discount the boxes if you buy them in the larger quantities and the shipping is cheaper too. We ship flat rate USPS.

Happy canning!!!

Laurie

Okay, great! I wish there would be more people talking about them. Anything reusable that is BPA free for home canning would totally be worth it! Now that I know that you can have success canning with them I am totally going to slowly start switching over. Thanks!
