Has anyone made pumpkin butter before?? I have a lot of pumpkins this year and thought this might be a good idea.

yes, but ... I will eat pumpkin anythig, just found a good one pumpkin applesause. I'll be making that one to.
It is a good site, it tells you how NOT to can pumpkin.
