I picked up my mail this morning and there was a wonderful mail art envelope, so much detail!
We very carefully peeled off the postal stickers so we could enjoy it all. There is a blue ribbon
and tag for a crochet pillow and a photo of a young lady! Are these from your family?

Hi Connie!
I just got home tonight from a long weekend visiting our family in WI and your package was on my porch when I walked in the door. What a fun surprise! Thank you for all of the goodies. I love the little crocheted bowl, I need to learn how to make those! I also enjoyed the state fair oil cloth, next generation of farmgirls and the little quilting book. I'm looking forward to sitting down with the Wildseed farms catalog.
Thanks again, so much fun. I'm running late, mine will be in the mail for sure by Thursday.

The little pictures in the envelopes and the ticket stub are from my family, but the program cover and recipe are from the book Blue Ribbon USA: Prizewinning Recipes from State and County Fairs by Georgia Orcutt and John Margolies, the blue ribbon was an antique store find, and the picture of the young lady in pincurls is one I pilfered from the Internet ages ago. I love that picture so much...I've got it decorating all sorts of things, including the notebook where I keep my MaryJane's Merit Badge certificates! I kind of live in fear that one day, some old lady will see that picture and say, "Hey, that's ME!" and I'll have to explain myself!

I received my Mail Art today and already have it hung up by my sewing machine...... I love it!!! Who is the little girl in the picture on the front? The book she is reading is almost as big as her (-:

Judy~ I did! I did get it! I even have a few of the caramels left :) I left a message at the bottom of page 3. I am still trying to send a picture to myself to post. I am not sure why my phone and e mail are disagreeing with each other, but I will try to work on that again.
I hope you get your package soon. It had a long trip up there :)

Hey, everyone, thank you so much for participating! You guys are awesome and I am so glad that people are having so much fun making and sending things to each other.

Hey Rachel...we could do an "All Things Fall" Theme. All the oranges, browns, greens,
reds etc just makes for Beautiful Art!!

Fall is a great idea. I will use that for October and we can do a dual theme with Halloween (that way folks who don't dig the Halloween theme have an option). Thanks for the suggestions!
