Do you use your Amish Friendship Bread starter for anything other than the 'classic' sweet quick bread? I love keeping the starter for this (I use it as a base for zucchini bread), but the starter multiplies so quickly... any other good recipes to keep up with the baking? :) Do share!

I have a couple of recipes I'll have to look up. I just did a search at allrecipes.com for Amish Friendship bread or Herman. It had biscuit, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, etc. I'm sure if you did a google search using Amish starter or Herman you could find a lot.

Kim, I am glad to hear someone else call it Herman. I guess I am showing my age, but I can remember growing up & my mom & aunt always had Herman on the kitchen counter. No one else ever seems to have heard of it.
