Oh my, I'm SO excited, I can hardly breathe!!! My dad just surprised me with a ticket home!! I will finally get to see my six month old niece (and all the rest of the family, I guess!!) And it is just for me (we are all going back for Christmas). Not that I wouldn't want the kids to go, but it is just a quick visit, and they are giving me some 'me' time - you all know how it is!! Better get moving with the quilt I'm making for her. I thought I had a bit longer, but I am going in one week!! Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait - doing a happy dance!!! |

...and I will sing at the top of my lungs, and I will dance, even if I'm the only one! |

How exciting for you Jayne. My parents did that for me when my little granddaughter was born and they lived in Kentucky..we lived in Calif at the time and were getting ready to move here to Utah (one week after that trip!!) My son and his little family were moving to Utah in a few months after that but I was dying to see her!! So my dad got tickets for my mom and I to fly out and spend a whole week with them...it was so great!! I am so excited that you get to go!!! Have fun!!
Jenny in Utah Inside me there is a skinny woman crying to get out...but I can usually shut her up with cookies http://www.auntjennysworld.blogspot.com/ visit my little online shop at www.auntjenny.etsy.com |

Home for me is in Melbourne, Victoria - if you know Australia, Albany is on the other side, and Australia is a BIG place! It takes about 5 hours flying, two different airlines, so it's always fun connecting the flights! Lucky I like to read - get lots of reading done in the airport waiting for my connecting flight; why do they never seem to match up exactly?! We moved over here for hubbie's work about two and a half years ago. My girls and I are desperate to go home and start our dream farm, but we will have to see. Maybe I can fit in some property searching while back there?! As long as I get to cuddle my little niece, I'll be over the moon! Best wishes, Jayne |
