Elizabeth - Thanks especially for the recipe with the steel cut oats. That's my favorite cool/cold weather breakfast and I never thought of letting it cook overnight in the crock pot - and wake up to the smell of oats, cinnamon, apples and honey! Not to mention how much time this will save me in the morning!

Elizabeth,

what size crock pot do you cook the steel cut oats in? I have tried another recipe for cooking them in the crock pot, but in the morning they are always brown and overcooked. I'm thinking maybe I need one of the smaller crocks to cook this in?

thanks
Lynn
