Hey ladies,
As of late I have been using alot of Nature's Miracle and I was curious to find out if anyone knew about making it. I know one of the main ingredients is Rubbing Alcohol, but what else could be in it.
I am using so much because it kills the little tiny ants, they certainly do love coming in my window and get all over my counter top. I have tried cornmeal, vinegar, salt, so far the only thing that makes a dent is the Nature's Miracle.

Hi Emily!
I've never used Nature's Miracle, so I cannot help you there; but I want to share with you that Borax powder really does the trick. Just dust some where you see them. My neighbor also swears by baby powder. We get those every year - drive me nuts! But after one dose of Borax, they're gone.
Good luck!

I use a spray bottle with a little borax disolved in the bottom with kitchen soap and water. It's safe and kills them right away. I also wash my floors with borax in and sprinkle borax around the edge of the house to deter them from coming in.
God bless,

Ughh, I have been using the cornmeal liberally, and just got the ants out of my DD bedroom, but now I just cleared off my couter tops of all food items and cookware. Now I am wondering, how long do I have to keep the borax on my counter top?

Hi Emily, I am a licensed PMP (Pest management profesional) in the bug capital of the world, Florida. Do you happen to know what type of ant they are? Simply knowing that could put a end to the problem superfast. What color? are there different castes (sizes)?

Eily, Don't know if you still have the ant problem but I sprinkle cinnomon (just cinnomon not cinnmon- suger) around my counters, it's safe for the pets, smells good but looks relly yucky. I leave it there most of the time but when I clean it up they do reappear after a couple of days. Liz

Emily we just got the teeny ants as well and we were using nature's miracle to get rid of them too! Only thing we've found that worked. I don't know what kind of ants they are and I can't get a picture of them (they're that small!!). I've never had ants this small in my house before...but then this is our first year at this farm. :)

Hey farmmilkmamma, I also found that sealing the windows with caulk helped and then I placed a few leek roots (attached to the bottom of the leak about 1 inch) helped to run them off. Also, I started tossing my coffee grinds along the wall, outside, around the window where they like to come in. Plus I stuck some whole bay leaves around their favorite spots.
If you smush them and they smell, it is the exact kind of ants that we had

I use borax also, I put it into soda bottle lids here and there, and those ants disappear!
