I am thinking of trying the Aunt Dimity mystery series- does anyone else like them? Haven't read any, but in general like "cozy" mysteries. |

I believe I have read all of them..loved them. There just aren't enough of them. I keep looking for a new one.

Hi girls...my daughter loves them...but like you...she has a hard time finding them...Daughter has says she has a hard time putting it down once she gets started reading. That being said...hope you find and enjoy. Blessings

Thanks! There is a new-ish one I got from the library yesterday - Aunt Dimity and the Village Witch. Just started it and I think I am going to like the series! Thanks for the input! |

One of my favorites, also. They are definitely hard to find, even at the libraries.

Mary, I recently saw "Aunt Dimity and the Village Witch" at the library, picked it up, read it in a few days, and enjoyed it! The cover drew me in at first, and it was cozy and quaint, just what I was hoping for! I don't normally read series books out of order, so now that I've read the most recent, I have made myself start back at the beginning of the series. This weekend I finished the first book, "Aunt Dimity and the Duke." My library system is able to access books from across RI, so with any luck I won't have any trouble progressing through. I'm looking forward to reading more!
If you like cozy mysteries, I am also a fan of Joanne Fluke's series (listed on her website, www.murdershebaked.com), which are nice and light to read before bed and also include recipes; and I have almost finished Stephanie Barron's Jane Austen mystery series. Another historical fiction mystery series I've been reading is Tasha Alexander's Lady Emily series.
