Yippeeeee!
They have been closed since before Christmas.
Can't wait to see what I'll bring home again. I've been lucky to have more time to read this winter.

I picked up several books and magazines. I posted another recipe link on my blog today (from a magazine).

I LOVE our local library. 12 years ago, it was a small 3000 sq ft building. You wouldn't think that such a small rural area would use a lbrary as much as ours does. There were times people had to wait outside because it was full to capacity inside. A few years ago it was upgraded to 30,000!! Not kidding.....30,000 sq ft. It is incredible.

One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt."

Catherine, I just read in American Libraries Magazine that a couple Houston area libraries have received renovation funding, so it sounds as though readers in your area are in luck! :) http://americanlibrariesmagazine.org/news/11142012/libraries-fare-well-overall-ballot-box
