I got another postcard today, this one from Lainey in Georgia! I love seeing pictures of our farmgirls, and what a lovely picture this was of you Lainey and your husband too! Congratulations on your son's wedding! Have a wonderful summer!

I received some more great cards today,thank you Darlene in California, loved the poem. Thank you Birdie, what fun you must have had. My daughter and I do everything together and I love that we are best friends. Your handwriting is very beautiful. Hope everyone is having as much fun as I am.

Hey Marlee,Lauren,and Tammy,
I am glad y'all got the postcards and enjoyed them.
Marlee,now we can't hide out anymore when we come to Louisiana,so we'll have to get together and do lunch or something!
Tammy, thanx for the congrats on the wedding, they are doing very well.
Last but not least thankyou for the compliment Lauren , it's always nice to hear, even if you are just saying it to be nice (HaHa)!
This is so much fun getting these and hearing from everyone!!

Well ladies, today I got two more postcards from Marlee and April.
Marlee, what a spooky card, I'd love to go ghost hunting there. I bet there would be plenty!, and the building is so cool to boot. Oh mine had lots of ink on the reading side but I lucked out and my picture is pretty clear, just a little ink.
April, what a neat looking church, I bet with those two foot thick walls it never gets hot in the summer time. I bet the windows are beautiful, I do some stained glass sometimes, it has always appealed to me.
I'm up to five postcards now, maybe I'll get somemore before the week is up, this is so much fun!

I'm so happy with the postcards I've received so far!! I bought a bulletin board and put it up over my sewing machine. Every day I tack my newest postal treasures to the board-it's filling up fast! When the swap is over, I'll have to post a pic (camera permitting) of the board when it's full...
Can't wait to start sending out my postcards starting June 17th!
This swap is more fun than a barrel of monkeys! LOL |

I went to the mailbox, and what did I find? Two postcards whoohoo!
One's from Birdie(CJ's daughter) it had a picture of a large cactus when they went glamping which I love because you can see the material they used to pretty up the tent.So sweet.It is just beautiful.Thank you Birdie.
The 2nd was from Marcy from R.I. it is beautiful of the rocks around the Bailey Beach that is a great picture,I would love to be standing there and watching the waves roll in and crash in to rocks .Its gives you sense of wildness.I am just loving this.

marlee...mine from you was also a bit messed up-about the top inch all the way across....i loved the picture-i worked in a court house that had a similar history ....we worked right next to the ancient jail in the basement of the building!spooky!
gals i have enjoyed the cards received so far! i'm slowly getting mine addressed but may not mail out til after we move when i have new address labels.....

Hey y'all,
