Hi Gals...I got moved...so glad that is behind me now.
I got a Postcard Saturday from Christine Lally/Wisconsin. What a Beautiful looking Farm! Pristine!
And today I got Time Square New York Postcard from Sylvia. That is one place I have always wanted
to see.

Okay ladies, here is my situation. . . I have all the postcards addressed and written out but I'm just waiting on postage... My husband got laid off and we had just taken a trip out west (before we found out the last paycheck we got from his work was going to be his last). We found out when we were getting ready to leave that he had no job to return too so he applied at a few places out there and he got a job! So, as soon as we can sell what we don't need I will be able to either get the stamps and mail them out ASAP while we are still in Wisconsin or I will have to wait until we get a place to live out west... Either way we are moving because he got a great job out there, so it's kind of a financially precarious situation as it is but as soon as I get the money for stamps I will get my postcards out to you all! They've been ready to go for a month now, its just the postage I'm waiting on to send them out. Hope you all understand if they are a little later than the 19 days. I'm hoping to get them out before then but I will have to see how God works out our situation!

Krystle...I am so glad that hubby got a job so quickly...that is definately a God thing. Nobody is going
to care which side of your move that you send your cards out on. Just when ever you have the money to do
it...and put it behind you...then you can fully concentrate on what you need to do. Please let CJ know your new address in case others need to still mail to you (I realize you may not even have a home to go
to yet). I know someone else asked you already but where out West are you moving to????

Yay I am back up on my own computer again...
I got a really nice card from Karla, I love all your seasons in Florida, It looks warm and the fishing would be wonderful.
The weather where I live doesn't change much either but yours is much warmer...

All of my post-cards will be in the mail on Monday.
I waited until the end so that all of you will still
receive mail in August.
I love all of the post-cards. So many places I now want to
visit. What keepsakes! I started a special album just to hold
my post-cards.

I received two cards yesterday, one from Laurie on Long Island. I think it is a beautiful place, I visited my father in law there many years ago and have pictures of my first child and him fishing. It was so beautiful. The other card was from Teresa in Medford. What a beautiful sunset and a great picture. You have a very nice eye for photography. You ladies are very fortunate to live in such a beautiful state. Thank you for the cards.

First to all my sisters that I have recieved cards from and have not thanked properly, I apologize, my computer and I have not been getting along, my messages kept going to cyber space . Its fixed and we are doing better.
Second all my cards are sent.
Third a BIG Thank you to CeeJay for putting such a great swap together. It has been so wonderful to recieve post cards from all over. The pictures of the giant redwoods, nothern lights, flowers, seeing peoples faces and being able to put them to names, all the historic places, wildlife, and such scenic views. Thank you all.
Last I glued a small fossiled sharks tooth to each card. We live in southern FL on the gulf side and they wash up on the beaches just like shells do, only you have to look alot harder cause their are not as plentiful as shell are, we have alot of fun looking for them. .
Again I thank each and every one of you so much I have really enjoyed all the cards. |
