I just got my forwarded mail today and there were 12 cards in it!! I am so excited and way behind on my own cards. I did want to comment briefly on the cards I got: Julie-I know that ND must be a very nice place but I see that snow and I just head south. I think the people who live there must be made of very hardy stock. I am a wimp and done with snow. CJ-it is so nice to see people in "real life." You all look so happy. Peggy-what a glorious pic of the moon over the city. We were in Seattle for several days this past spring and really enjoyed it. Pilar-I love lighthouses. Do you get here often? My DH would love the fishing. Darlene-we went to the Redwoods this spring and it was amazing. Some of those trees are from the time of Chirst. SO beautiful and quiet. Connie-what can be better than a farmers market in Dublin? Loved all the colors of the flowers. Pam-we spent many days in AZ this spring but don't remember seeing any of these pretty quail. It was over 100 degrees the whole time we were there. "But it's a dry heat" is actually funny. Nini-I have been to Pittsburg and it is as nice as you say. We enjoyed the 3 rivers converging. CJ-how nice to see you, MJ and your daughters in "real life." What are the necklaces you are wearing? They look interesting.
April-right after we moved to Texas for a year we went to a Czech. festival. Loved the Kolatches. Netty-I've never seen a whooping crane. They are bigger than I thought. Lainey-how wonderful to get a pic of you (and DH). It is so nice to put a face with a name. Where does your son live in Texas? Debbie-the log cabin looks so cozy. Is it yours?
THANK YOU ALL. I really enjoyed seeing who you are and where you live. This swap is the best for a gal who loves to travel and can't go everywhere. Gotta go get busy on my cards. Joey

I sent mine when we started. Yes Joey it is awesome living among the Redwoods and when I do get to go to them your right about being quiet and peaceful...There is a park called Sequoia Park in Eureka and when you go down the trail to the duck pond it is like you are in an whole different world and the traffic noise is not existant. It is hard to imaging how old they are and during Christ's time. That would have been so nice to known him then.
Take care
Thanks
Darlene

Hey Joey,
In that photo of the four of us we were ALL wearing the Sisterhood pendants . . which you can order if you're a member of the sisterhood.
We also had some other "shrinky-dink"/charms that were for the trip we were on which was the Farmgirls on the Loose/Women of the Wild West Road trip last summer. AND, since a bunch of us were gathering at MaryJane's farm for a Tea Party as the "finale" to our trip Mary Jane gave us all her own special "Queen Bee" pendant.
ALSO, there probably were "shrinky-dink" charms for our Farmgirls Southwest Henhouse on them as well. Robin and I are members of that Henhouse and we gave the charms to MJ and Meg because they are part of it all.
So, hope that helps!.

Thank you so much Rustic Reb for the wonderful post card of your Michigan Lighthouses. I love lighthouses and when I travel out of state (which is not much anymore)and in the right areas I always look for the lighthouses. Wouldn't it be fun to live in one, I think it would anyway.
Hugs,
Debbie

Thanks CJ. I love jewelry and the charms looked cool. I recognized the farmgirl ones but of course, not the others.
My brother and SIL vacationed for a week in a lighthouse in Maine. They said it was very interesting, and peaceful. Working on my cards today. Joey

Stamford is north of Abilene about 40 miles. On the map it it just below the panhandle on the east (right) side. Roadrunners are my second favorite animal next to the dolphin.

Thank you Sylvia for the great postcard with the pictures of the wildlife. I love roadrunners myself but have never seen one in person or an armadillo. What fun it must be to have them on your farm.

Over the past week I have received a few cards that I haven't acknowledged. There are not close at hand to remember the names. Will post within the week. Just thought if any of you are wondering.....

Thank you Linda for the beautiful tulip pictures you took!
Thanks Sylvia, I saw a roadrunner in Arizona and thought it looked just like
the cartoon! Do all jack rabbits look skinny and long legged?
