I got a wonderful card from Linda and it is a beautiful card of the Cascade Mountains with snow on the top...I looks so peaceful..I bet those raspberry fields are pretty to look at too.

I loved the Card I got today from Diana...from Idaho.
I love the parts of Idaho I have been too. One of my favorite
States here in The Northwest.

I received a few cards today when I went to the post office, thank you Debbie for the great flag picture. Thank you Dutchy. I would love to smell the flowers from that picture. I used to frequent the ones in NYC when I lived there. Thank you Pilar for the lovely picture of Long Island, and Pam thanks for the cactus, claret cup, They look lovely.

With my dd taking driver's ed 3x a week for the entire summer, a family vacation was out of the question but all of your cards make feel like I have traveled. Thanks for sharing your lives with me.

Debbie in Colorado, loved your patriotic flag postcard I received
Saturday.
Peggy, yes, you sure do have the best of both worlds being so
close to Oregon and living in Washington. Glad you liked the layout of my postcard, got it from our "Made in Washington" store here locally. With the warmer weather we are seeing even more hummingbirds
at our feeders.
Sylvia, have a wonderful trip to Seattle next month. We are taking
vacation then too. Lots to see and do here. Maybe you will even get
to ride the new "Great Wheel" enclosed ferris wheel ride on the waterfront.

I received two beautiful post cards today, one from Diana with the map of Idaho on it. I never knew much about Idaho, It looks like a really pretty state. The other one was a beautiful American flag from Debbie. I am red white and blue girl also and have flags all around my house too, Isn't it awesome....

i STILL haven't gotten mine all addressed and HAVe received quite a few which i thank everybody for but wanted to jump in and say that yesterday i rec'd granmadinah's card-it took the long route cuz it was addressed to my OLD address...wondering how many more are taking the slow train from elyria to lorain? it's only an 8 mile drive from the apt to my new place!!!!

I got your beautiful patriotic postcard in the mail yesterday, Thank You! I have a fondness for flags also, although I have to admit that the Texas, Alaska, and Hawaiian ones are my faves. Being as I am such a proud misplaced Texan, the Texas flag is the only one I have hanging around.

Finally home and able to thank you girls for my latest round of postcards:
From Diana in Idaho, a beautiful state card highlighting much of Idaho's beauty. Another place I would love to visit!
From Pam in Arizona, a postcard of the gorgeous claret cup cactus. Pam says it was 111 degrees in Arizona. Yikes! Stay cool!!
From Teresa in New York...a beautiful photo she took of the sunset over her home in Long Island. I love sunsets over the ocean too!
And....from Dutchy all the way in Thailand....the elephants...amazing that you get to see them up close. What a treat! Thailand must be a wonderful experience for you.
