I just wanted to share a pic of some my plum trees over flowing with blossoms. I'm doing the happy dance and hoping for a big crop of mirabelles this year!
Annika: simply beautiful! You'll have a big harvest of plums!!!! Thanks for sharing such a beautiful picture. Marly

Mine too! I have a very large Damask plum tree-
(snap of last years blossoms)
I still have a few jars of plum jelly and plum jam left in the jelly cupboard from last fall-Looks like I will be putting up a lot more again this year!
There is nothing quite like a plum tree in bloom and the scent is intoxicating-

Oh I make that too....I have a great recipe for plum butter....powidla sliwkowe! It uses the entire plum minus the pit so you get bits and bits of skin and fruit---Awesome!
Annika, Your plum trees are absolutely breath takingly beautiful! No doubt you will have a bountiful harvest this year to make your favorite recipes.I look forward to hearing about what is happening in the kitchen when canning season begins! Homemade plum preserves on hot scones is a heavenly way to start any day!

I was just thinking my pkum tree looked very pretty, too. It is not nearly as large as your trees, but it sure made me smile. Best of luck for a great crop! I have never tried plum butter ... Marianne
