I have Lemon, Purple, Lime and Sweet Basil. I am pretty sure with mint, you have to be careful planting next to eachother if they are flavored. Does the same rule apply with Basil? I wanted to make a Basil container with them all together, but I don't want to cross them. Thanks! :)

Those sound really good. I have grown Pineapple sage in the past and thought that was pretty different. I will be interested to see if you can plant them together. Pineapple sage tastes like Juicy Fruit gum.
I think they would cross but if your not saving your seeds, would it matter. If you do save your seeds you might get something new, unusual, and yummy - go for it!
Sorry! I am not getting email prompts when I get a reply to a thread. I got the seeds at Home Depot actually. And I just picked up Apple Mint and Orange Mint. I would love to make tea out of the mints. Last year, I bought Purple Basil from a gal at the Farmer's Market who won Blue Ribbon for her herbs and it was so delicious! I made a Purple Basil Lemonade that I could've drank for days!! So, I really wanted to try to grow my own. :)
