This weather is great, it's going to be 82degrees this weekend, IN MARCH! I am getting ready to go out & plant my salad garden...lettuce, spinach, radish, & green onion. I am atleast a month ahead of schedule. Can't wait for good fresh salad! Maybe I will stick in a few peas while I am at it.

Full of spring fever

How exciting! We are planning to plant part of the garden this weekend. Good luck and have fun.

We are having warm days also but are known to have late frosts so I think I'll wait for the actually planting. I do have cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, brusses sprouts and tomatoes started in my windows. I started the cabbages and cauliflower a couple of weeks ago and they are going gang busters. Just planted the rest today so hope they do as well. This is my first year starting seeds indoors.

Good luck. We are still a ways away from being able to plant, even indoors!

My sister and I started seeds indoor this weekend, too - so exciting! I usually kill the poor things but am happily optimistic that things will be different this year. Good luck to you all with your gardens!

I have some seedlings in the house, but that's all so far. It's nice out, and will be again all this week, but I'm still expecting snow to show up.

Taking out the last of my broccoli plants today. We have planted 15 heirloom tomatoes, lots of sugar snap peas and scallions. Also four pepper plants. In Florida, even though we do have frost at times, we can garden year round, depending on what you plant. Love gardening! Here is one of the last bags of broccoli we got. It was plentiful this year.

We planted some tomatoes and peppers this past weekend. We also added two satsuma bushes to our fruit-bearing section of our yard. It was nice weather for planting.

I am hoping to get in the raised beds this weekend if we don't get too much rain tomorrow and Friday. I received some seeds from Farm girl Diane and can hardly wait to plant them!
