So cool! I will be showing my husband soon. Ours works well but not nearly as impressive as yours. I really love it.

That is sooo cool. I love old telephone stuff anyway. My grandfather started the phone company in this area way back when and I have some pretty cool old telephone stuff. Not a lot though. I would love to make a clothes line like that. I trail ride a lot and sometimes I find those old insulators out in the woods. Love them! Thanks for sharing it with us Paula!

People who stop by to visit or delivery men always ask, "Is that what I think it is?" It is in full view of the driveway when you approach the house, so it was kind of important to make it look somewhat aesthetically pleasing...something like practical yard art.
Our once-a-year mowing is finally done, and I'm keeping a little space around it mowed short, but the big blue stem and wild flowers will all grow up tall around it again in no time.

Sure looks sturdy! You will get many years of fresh dried sheets. Reminds me of my early married years when I couldn't wait for dryer, now I want a clothesline. Jan, on a WV mountain
