I know I've made jam from frozen berries before, but I can't recall if I used the juice. I have some frozen raspberries thawed and there is a lot of juice in the bowl. Should I use that or just the berries?

I did that last Christmas and used both juice and berries - it came out great!

I freeze all my berries and use them when the need arises later on. We have a huge chest freezer. Especially with strawberries, ther eis always a lot of juice left over. I have learned to either use the juice for other applications or just throw it away. It will cause the jam to dilute and the pulp to float to the top.

So if you want more liquud than pulp, them by all means go ahead, but I prefer to have more fruit than juice. I sell my jams though and want customers to get thwat they pay for.
