Thought you might like to see us in action!!

Karin

These are the blossoms after being squeezed.

Spent blossoms suspended in liquid. Appetizing, eh?

The tools of the trade.

Cilla measuring out the sugar- 5 cups per batch!!

Sorry this is blurry! This is my mom- the neat one of the bunch trying to clean up after me!!

Double bubble, toil and trouble! Me stirring, and stirring, and stirring.....

The final result- Beautiful jars of magenta jelly casting jewel-like light throughout my kitchen!!

Didn't know kudzu was good for anything. They are beautiful. What flavor does it have? Being from the mid-atlantic states we don't have it as a problem but have seen it on trips to the south and knew it was a problem for you. Leave it to a farmgirl to come up with some way to use it!!

Shirley- You are on the list!! I have a jar with your name on it. I did e-mail you through the forum to let you know. Hmmmm. It must not have gone through. Just e-mail me your address and I will gladly get it out to you. I mailed 7 jars out yesterday!! (Priority mail so it will get there sooner.)The man at the post office (located in a tiny country store) asked me what I was mailing, and when I told him he didn't believe me. So, I promised him I would bring him some, and he ran to the back of the little shop to bring me a jar of Hot Pepper Jelly that HE had made. It's back there today for delivery!
