Nicole, porcupine meatballs are meatballs with rice in them. The rice is supposed to resemble the quills. (They don't, in my opinion, but whatever.)

Tonight I had grapes. And a dish of frozen yogurt/sorbet. And then a carrot pineapple muffin at The Sawmill. Now I'm going to go to bed so I don't eat anymore stuff! lol. Can't wait until I have vegetables outside my patio door!

Life isn't about finding yourself. It's about creating yourself.

I am trying to cook with the remaining ricotta and what I have on hand. I went searching the Internet and plan on making Chicken, Spinach & Ricotta Quesadillas (http://www.cleaneatingmag.com/Recipes/Recipe/Chicken-Spinach-Ricotta-Quesadillas.aspx)

Beautiful day...we will have grilled grass-fed organic beef hamburgers on organic buns with home-grown lettuce, tomatoes, and onions (all organic). So yummy!

Chicken sausage with pasta and some sort of sauce - not sure if I want to go with tomato or a cheesy cream sauce. And a nice big salad to go with.

Made some kohlrabi and potato soup today. Making baked chicken breasts, mushroom orzo, and I'm leaning towards beets for the veggie.

Kristina, chicken, Spinach & Ricotta Quesadillas sound great!!

Tonight I'm doing an ol'fashioned pot roast in the crock pot with onions, carrots and potatoes. I keep making green salads but they are soooo good with the just-picked lettuce and homemade fresh dressings.

Okay, Farmgirls...we've been posting six full months here. Do we keep going????

I am not quite sure yet. Ric is having trouble holding anything down, so I may treat myself to a hamburger. If he is able to eat, I will make pasta, potatoes, or some other kind of comfort food.

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....

I may make some frittatas with our eggs, kohlrabi and other goodies. Not quite sure yet. I'm very worn out today, so I want dinner to be easy and stress free. We made a large bowl of garden lettuces and sugar snap peas. I may just say salad is dinner with some tuna in it or chicken.
