I have been experiencing these more frequently. At first I thought it might be due to not having blankets that breathe. That helped for a while. Now it's back. Not fun.

Mine come twice a week at 4 am.....They usually don't last long and I find drinking a glass of water helpful. Good luck!

Try some evening primrose oil, that was what I used when mine first started

I drink raspberry leaf tea and among other things it has help...I no longer have night sweats or day time hot flashes :)

Might want to have a check up though....night sweats are certainly part of perimenopause but they can be a sign of an infection somewhere in your body too.

VERY good point, Star...
Loyce, I sleep with a fan going winter/spring/summer AND fall... I used to get night sweats all the time, but they stopped over the past couple of years, thankfully. I got used to the fan, though, and now have a really hard time sleeping without the white noise. It is always blasting straight on me at night. The hubby thinks I'm cuckoo for cocoa puffs, but it really helps me breathe and sleep. If I ever get too hot I just curl back the covers and cool off a bit. And ice in a bowl on the nightstand will really provided quick relief when passed over your lips and skin. Another thing to keep in mind is to stay away from any type of alcohol while you're going through this. Friends have told me that even a glass of wine at the end of the day can make you heat right up at night.
I hope this helps a little. I know they can be so miserable. I'm SO thankful that I don't have them anymore! I'll say a little prayer for you, too, sister!
Hugs -
