Does any know of a homemade dog shampoo recipe? I swear (nicely!) that there was a recipe in the magazine that used castile soap but I cannot find it.

Be very careful. Dogs' skin is much more sensitive and thinner than ours, and things a human can use will irritate dogs. I found that out the hard way. Bathed dog with my shampoo(watered down) and she broke out in hives, then blistered.

dogs skin PH is very differant than ours, it will dry, irratate and can cause damage, especialy to pink skined dogs, there are plenty of organic dog shampoos on the market, and for a bit of trivia, did you know that a pigs skin is the same as humans...
