I just came home this evening and heard Mazie bellowing. So I quickly called my friend up the road. He's an old dairy man. He AI's. So I asked him if he could come AI Mazie. He's coming in the morning! I have never experienced this so I am a little apprehensive and a little excited too. I know there are lots of people who do this. And it will be SO much easier to do this than to find a trailor and load her up and take her down the road and it be 3 months before I can get her back again. So we will try this. Wish us luck. We'll need it. She's never been tied up. But I told him, if she has a near bale of hay and some apples, she should be good to go. I hope so anyway.
