Diana/Pedro....hi there Farmgirl Sis...I sent you an email and I am concerned that you didn't get it so I thought I'd post here just in case you would see it. We've had a hard time connecting (my name is mispelled on the swap list and I know that you might have tried and just couldn't find me). Anyway, I've been collecting things for your Wimsy Jar and have had fun thinking about you and what you might enjoy. It's time to put it all together and mail it off to you and I need your mailing address. Could you please contact me so we can exchange addresses? I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Warmly,
Pam/Coaloha

I have been watching all the wonderful things people have been sending/getting..many beautiful things and it has been so nice to see the pics. I am a little confused, though. I thought the point of this swap was to use a quart jar. It seems many have sent much more than that. I just don't want my partner to be disappointed. I signed up for a jar and I'm sending a jar and while I have been collecting goodies for you, I took the challenge to make them all fit in the jar. I hope you are sending a jar too. Is it just me or did I miss the point? I loved the snow man jar-too cute. Joey

Joey,

Tammy and I were just discussing this the other day and thought the same thing, that the idea/challenge and fun was to be able to find things that fit in a jar. But I agree that farm girls have generous hearts and souls

Oh, I definately agree that farmgirls have generous hearts and souls. I just thought it was supposed to be a jar. Jamie, thanks for your post. I have to go to PA tomorrow for 10 days to deal with some family issues but I will put your jar in the mail as soon as I get back. It will be before the deadline. I'm almost done. Joey

Got my whimsy jar
I love it! wish I could take a picture
Jar was personlized with my name in glittery foameys
butons, star confetti, cowgirl stickers, crochet hook, a few frogs. . . .
The costume jewlery is real pretty; in my favorite colors, especially like the fairy and the butterfly.
Even had my favorite candy (butterscotch, tootsie rolls, strawberry hard candies)

Jessi, I received your package the other day, filled with wonderful recipes and cookie cutters.. the cutest bird glass figurines and all kinds of buttons and glitter and "good smelly stuff" (potpourri).
Pumpkin salt and pepper shakers (which are adorable)
and some autumn leaf cut outs for the table...
and a blue egg with black spots, which reminded me of Americana eggs
I loved everything.. the recipe's were such a great idea :)

This swap was wonderful!

Hi Diana,

Your box arrived a couple of days ago and I saved it for a peaceful minute so I could really enjoy your gift. I was speechless as I opened it! The dophin stationary is beautiful...just last weekend I was on the beach in California and watched a group of dolphins frolicing off shore. The stationary reminded me of that wonderful memory. I love the chocolate and the linens and the feather...and the snoopy ornament. The jar itself was beautiful with the wire snowflakes...It was all just right and I was so excited. Thanks for your thoughtfulness!!

Warmly,
Pam
