i'm nervous as a little hen about my "babies" travelling away from home, to their new homes.
thank you to everyone for your patience. and please if any one has any displeasure with your purchases please tell me and i will try to make it right, and as they say, if you are happy with your purchase tell Everyone!
i have loved making these crafts for you all, and it has stimulated me to make new ones.
i still owe a shipping to nance in france, and gloria g, but they were very patient and i appreciate that. my little "Owivia" hated to see the horsey go but she was proud that effie was getting a little pony and i promised to make her one as well.
love to all and please send me any suggestions or room for improvement and thanks once again for all your purchases and encouragement.
i love my farmgirl sisters, my dh says yall are the best thing thats happened here at the farm for years, except of course for the grandchildren!

Remember to let me know when you get a chance what kinds of fabrics you would like from here so I can get you some and do you have a paypal account? Remember I am interested in hats and a journal...I have just been waiting for your e-mail to tell me about the fabrics. So when you get a chance! My girls and I will love your hats and I am looking forward to a pretty "Fran original journal" to add to my collection!

sure thing, this is the exciting,scary part,dont ya think? i just checked my mail but no package.
i'll try again tomorrow. you are supposed to get mine tomorrow. be sure and check if it got a stain on it, did you get my email about that? i hope not, but if so i guess you will just have to get something to make up for it.
just let me know. i fretted for several hours but decided it was water under the bridge and i would just have to make the best of it.
anywho, i feel like we are waiting for a birthing or something.

I hope it is not a birthing I was done haveing kids almost 5 years ago. I don't think my body could handle that. Yes I got your email. At least he was interested in what you where making that is a compliment isn't it. Mine package that I am sending to you I think should be there friday or saturday so don't fret to much.

All the things you sent Sunshine are so nice!! Can't wait to see when you post more crafts what else I can order. What else was in the picture on Sunshine's Blog, it looks like a picture or a card? Will let you know as soon as I get my pony, and will be watching for more of your things.

yes, sunshine, i got my box today as well, the postman delivered it right to the door!
my youngest daughter, bailey and her friend kate and bailey's daughter, autumn or "awesome" as her cousins call her were all here for a visit.
there was a lot of excitement as we opened the box, i was squealling like a little girl.
anyway, i think you were way to generous, i loved all the items, but especially loved the items made by you. your work is very beautiful and the girls who are basically city girls couldnt believe someone made them, and someone so young. you are very talented.
i'm glad everything was ok with your items too.
this was a fun experience.

oh yes,
i forgot, i do the tags cause i believe, like you do sunshine that the handmade items or the fibre arts in your case are not toally understood or appreciated, especially with the MTV types. but i'm an optomist and i always believe that you can light a little spark in someone.
also it is a tribute to my parents who were just the best of folks. my mom and dad adopted my sister and i when they were married about 15 years.
they never bought anything on time, not a house , not a car, nothing, but i believe my sister and i were pretty spoiled, you know, dance lessons, piano and voice lessons, sports etc.
my sister was french and czechoslavakian, i was irish, my dad was english, and mom was german-irish. none of us looked anything alike but we had kindred hearts and became a family.
so now i use my crafts to pass on the spirit of my family, the first people who taught me to love pretty things and not to be frivilous with raw materials. my dad was that fellow in town that folks brought discarded items to cause they new he would make something with it and it wouldbe useful, or beautiful or both.
sunshine, when i see your beautiful pictures, especially the kindlin pics from your grandmothers beautiful folk art pieces i see tags for your fibre art items. if you would like me to make you some tags to use with your work i'd be happy to do that and send them to you, or i would be happy to tell you what i've learned about making them, i just make them on my printer.

oh sunshine, checked your blog and saw the hats, i loved them on your children, of course i think your children are so cute and they make the hats look good!
my dh saw the photos, and he said those are great pics of your crafts fran, and he is a pro photographer and has been shooting pics for about 35 years. thanks so much for posting the photos so i could see the hats on your children, they<your children> are adorable.

Well now aren't those just the cutiest kids with frannie hats on!! loved seeing those. how cute. Frannie great job on the hats, you sure are handy, wish I was, so many things I have in mind I would like to do, but sure like seeing what you all do. I am the MTV generation. I use to do my home work in Junior high and high school and junior collage to MTV. So that is funny to me. But then I am not the norm MTV person either. I am glad you like your items I just would find something inmy house and think frannie might like that and in the box it went. I think I filled it pretty full good size box too. It was fun. Glad to here your company had fun. It sounded like my grandmothers house about once a year I send her about 6 baby bonnets/ booties/ layettes what ever she asks for to give as gifts to family. She always calls over a few cousions and friends and my aunt and my great aunt they go out to lunch then back to my grandmothers to open the box. That box may stay closed for weeks until the unveiling it is so funny to me. Glad you liked the photos too.

my husband just got home and he realy likes the items too. The acorns are just so neat he thought so too. I really need to get more of those. The house I grew up in was surround by 20 giant oak trees so all my cousins and 4 siblings that lived with my grandparents are reminded of our grandparent my oaks and acorns.

Those acorns are just darling - fun! I remember finding acorns when I was little and carefully trying to pull their tops off so I could use them as "hats" for the acorns. My mom would draw faces on the acorns and then my sister and I would have fun putting on and taking off their hats. Funny what can be so magical and amusing when you're little!

i am so glad he/she made it there, and i hope effie enjoys her, too.
i wish we could see a pic of the 2 of them together.
i am working on some new items. i finished nance in france's order and posted pics on my blog, but i dont know if she wants to see them here or wait til she opens her package, so i didnt post her items on the thread.
i am working on some new items and will try to post this week. i sent you an email too and let you know that i had to have dental work today so i dont know how much ill get done.
these are some of the new projects:
a "blue ribbon" pin, i use mine with my domestic goddess apron, it is for those days when you deserve a blue ribbon but nobody else seems to notice.
small stacking frames, made with frames, buttons'n bows, just pretties as olivia calls them. a different way to show off your photos, letters and other collectibles.(ooh does this mean we have to go garage saleing to get some new collectibles, meet you at the car.)
bobbin shelves, small shelves made from wooden bobbins to old all your new small treasures.
more journals, more animals, more pincushions.....etc,etc,etc.
thanks to all the farmgirls who have encouraged me, i have the courage now to try some of the projects that i have planned but never started.
my dh is very happy cause we are watching more yankees baseball and less of the
Hgtv. he says, "i love that farmgirl site,frannie, go check your email".
