I was looking on Craigs list lastnight and someone had listed a 1950 Singer Sewing Machine, in the cabinet. So I email and ask if its available still he says yeah, if you can come tomorrow its yours. I am like YEAH! So he says he isnt sure if it works or not. Something I dont really care about, I just want to start a collection. Well I plug it in and IT WORKS!!! And it came with a bobbin and case! The BEST part....... It was FREE!!!!
It is going to look beautiful once I clean it up. Who knows I'll probably even use it!!

Hey Amanda,,,, you lucky duck.... my hubby saw & read it to me,,,then said(go figure) but you already have enough sewing machines!!! Well at least I am glad you got it,,,,you are so lucky! I am so gonna give my hubby a major rash about his comment!!! hee hee!
Have fun w/your new machine.
Oh & I don't know about you, but uugghh! I hate these winds...it is horrible out here on the west plains today!.
Well, gotta get going, off to the P.O. & maybe a quick run through Starbucks.....haven't had one in awhile!

Grace I am totally sticking my tongue out at you right now, I got your sewing machine(thanks to you hubbs) AND starbucks! Neiner!! And yes these winds are no fun.

I am going to try and find a manual for it, the belt on it looks REALLY good, the bobbin is clean, the whole thing actually really is. The foot pedal is so HEAVY!!

Thanks Jessica, I actually had my husband print a few pages for it, for me.It is still in the garage, waiting for some love. But the kids have been on spring break, I have been looking for a J O B!~~ , so its on the back burner for now.
