Debi Carr I received yoyo's and they are so nice. I loved the pumpkin card, I have already decided I am going to frame and cut the center out and put in a stitched little saying that I did a while back.
And your buttons were so nice. Thanks again. Its been fun. And will look forward to picking this up next year. Hopefully someone will continue.
To the other ladies, I have 6 kits made (but without buttons yet) and the others cut out. I have been sick for 4 days, and it has settled in my eyes. I only listen to the radio and tv. I am so fustrated by this.
My vision is blurry, and eyes running. Dr. says, it will take time. My daughter is typing this for me. This is the 10th of Nov, so I have 5 days for deadline I truly hope to make the deadline, but will keep you posted if I may be a few days late. Thanks for your understanding. This is so miserable. Debi The Yo Yos are just beautiful. I love all the fun buttons and my DD tried to take tha card. She loved it. In fact she was so excited that she opened the envelope and looked at the card and yo-yos before I got home. Here I thought I would have a little fun. Now my whole family is waiting to see the yo-yos. LOL
Linda I hope you feel better. You are in my prayers.
I have all the yo-yos cut and stitched. I just have to gather and sew buttons. I thought they looked kind of funny. My DD said they look fine and stop obsessing with perfection. Me obsess! What ever gave her that idea. LOL

Yeaa, thanks for all your good wishes. My eyes are better, not quite as blurry, unless I use them a lot. Doc gave me some more drops, and told me I had an eye infection. Of course, it would not be complete if I did not step wrong and hurt my knee, so now I have it in a brace. But guess what I am putting buttons on as fast as I can. So hope fully I will get them out on time. Huggs!

| Got all my completed and in envelopes ready to go. Hubby will mail in town tomorrow. I am still not getting out. Just wanted to let you all know, because of my eye infection, my daughter who is a nurse recommended I lay them in the sun for about 30minutes which I did. Also, I kept my hands washed and did not touch my eyes while handling button, yoyo's or thread. Thanks to all of you for your part in the swap. I hope all of you have a great holiday season. I got mine all in the mailing envelopes today...probably won't go out until payday on Friday.
Moving costs so much girls especially when on a fixed income. I have an emergency dental appt.
tomorrow...my son is floating me a loan until payday. How sad is that??? But how sweet of him!!!
Penny dear hope your back pain eases soon. I am with you having to get my not so tiny hiny in
gear with mail-outs for swaps. Then other than mail-art...I am taking a swap brake until January.
Can't wait to see everyone's yo-yos.

i buttoned the fall ones today and bought some buttons for 8 of the regulars-cannot find my huge tin and quart jar of buttons since we moved...grrrr! anyhow-taking the whole shebang with me to work tomorrow-the plan is to button during lunch hour..then get the envelopes (already addressed!) stuffed....will be mailed this week..
btw tonites test had 62 questions ....geez...

oh..today's button buying binge gave me an excuse to go to the cutest quilt supplies shop! def will be going back!!!!!.....oh i bought some valentine's type buttons...thinking maybe we'll be swapping????

Breanna, Penny, and Margo I got your yo-yos. Mine are done and in the mail. Sorry I am late. Time just got away from me. The post offices says you should get them by Thanksgiving some farther east (sorry Penny) may not get them till after Thanksgiving.
I would love to do anouther swap. I promise to be better with my time.
