Hey y'all. Down here in Southeast Texas we are experiencing a long-term drought and wildfires are popping up everywhere.

One of our local radio stations was having a call in contest for funny sentences that start with "It's so hot that..." or It's so dry that..."

I won a t-shirt for this one...."It's so dry that Gilligan walked off the island"

Y'all come up with one!

One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt."

It's so hot that cattle ranchers have herds of beef jerky.

It's so hot I didn't have to dehydrate my garden vegetables, they dehydrated themselves.
