...and it's only mid-September! We don't usually get frost this early. I admit, it's making me a little nervous about what winter will hold.

We're due for a freeze here tonight too...forecasting 28 degrees. I am really dreading the upcoming winter also. Things don't look to promising!

We are also forecast a frost this weekend. Guess we better get those bathroom windows back in (remodeling).

We saw 30 this morning, the leaves of the tomatoes that touched the sheets have turned black.....supposed to warm up again, although we only saw 60 today for a high. This year, I don't care if the weather is bad. Last winter my DH had heart surgery, so we were really hoping for very little snow for the last couple of months.

Oh, how I WISH we would have at least some temps in the 50s!!!!! A/C is just running per ususal. Sigh. Fall exists for this Florida girl in my crafting and decorating. Enjoy wearing your flannel shirts and jackets and sleeping under quilts for me! LOL

We had frost on Monday night, I believe it was. Monday wasn't warm at all, Tuesday was slightly warmer, & I thought I'd be smart yesterday & wear my winter jacket (It's only mid-September!!!), but today I just wore a hoodie & a windbreaker type jacket. Not sure what the temps were during the day, but right now we are at 10C/52F. So I think there might be a chance of frost tonight. Not like Monday night though - it was frosty!

We had a frost warning the other night. It's insane-two weeks ago it was in the 90's-now we're turning on the heat and thinking of firing up the woodstove!

We have had CRAZY weather the past week! Colder and wetter than usual for September. No frost yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not far away. We've had snow in the mountains!

It is crazy. It seems as though fall hit fast instead of slowly creeping in. Ah, well can't change it so I'll just try to enjoy whatever comes. :)

Excuse the mess & the noise, my children are making happy memories

It's funny, here we joke that we had very little summer. It didn't warm up until July! Made for a slow start for the garden, but then mid, end of July...BAM, intense heat, garden explosion and it lasted for about five weeks and started to mellow out. Well, like you said CeeJay, can't do anything about it except go with the seasons. :)
