Well, this may sound weird, but I've always wanted to live in the south of France ever since I saw "Chitty, Chitty Bang-Bang" when I was young. And though I hate alligators, I thought Florida in "The Yearling" would be a lovely place to live. And any of the origianal "Flicka" movies--Wyoming is a beautiful state.

Legends of the Fall definitely, or Le Petit Trianon on Marie Antoinette! Also Ms. Honey's cottage on the movie Matilda. Anywhere with a tiny house and lots of trees

My first thought was Practical Magic - that house, the gardens, that quaint town. I would love to move to Stars Hollow too. The 1970's version of Wuthering Heights - English moors, wild, rugged and lush. Lord of the Rings - wow New Zealand is gorgeous. Where was Heidi filmed?

I have to agree with Practical Magic. I also oved the setting and the time for Chocolat. Wherever Wuthering Heights with Juliet Binoche and Ralph Fiennes was filmed (please throw in Ralph Fiennes). ust about anywhere in Ireland! (loved where P.S. I Loved You was filmed). Boy - this question has really got me thinking -- ooh! One more the manor and the time where Gosford park was filmed!
