Hey Gang,

This year was my second year with my very own garden, and last year about this time, I stopped tending to it, as all the spring and summer plants were done. Are there any of you familiar with the Midwest climate who might suggest some fall or winter plants (preferably edible)that can go into the ground right about now?

Thanks,
Lauren

Spinach is a popular one here. Maybe things you can do in cold frames, also?

I am in WI and I planted green beans, beets, mustard greens, carrots and lettuce for my fall garden. I put them in about 2-3 weeks ago. I think it may be too late except for spinach or lettuce.

Don't go with the flow...you are the flow.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
