When I was a little girl I spent a lot of time writing. I haven't stopped yet, although I slowed down a lot over the last five years. I recently started writing again. It's been nice. I can spend a few hours here at my desk and forget the snow outside while I write about my favorite topics, farming and gardening.

I was offered a job and have accepted it. I am the editor at Farm & Garden! It's perfect. I have a set amount of hours I can work, am working around my schedule (which means a cup of tea and working go well together on a snowy day) and am using skills I haven't used nearly enough. I am blessed.

Wow, Robin, I am jealous! Congratulations! I am so happy for you! This is what I would dearly love to do also, but the chance has not presented itself. Keep us posted on how it goes, and keep sharing with us. That is so great! :)

A hearty congratulations to you from me too Robin!!! I also love to write and had stopped for a time but since I found Mary Jane and her great magazine I have spent a great deal of time writing again and have fallen in love with it all over again.
Your new job sounds ideal, I am sure you will love every minute of it. I am not jealous but do wish sometimes I could find a way to earn a living from my musings. Now however I am content to be doing the work I am doing with a cosmetic company that is finally getting off of the ground and I have found some dear friends through this endevour. Helping people live healthy lives by educating them and then providing them with an alternative to all of the poisionous cosmetics out there is a good outlet for me too.
Happy editing

Thanks! The new format came online over the weekend. There are more new things coming but we need a little time to get settled with this first!
