So this year the weather has just been weird. Cold, wet spring and really, really late. It's screwed up the crops. I think we got maybe a week of actual summer weather if you tally it all up, so far. Taking the kids to swimming lessons and we're freezing to death! All the long time locals are just shaking their heads, it's supposed to be 110 not 72. The wind here is outrageous but that part is atleast normal.

So how is the weather everywhere else? Strange year or pretty normal? I know there's been terrible heat in some areas......

Excuse the mess & the noise, my children are making happy memories

We had much of the same thing down in Moscow. The high today was around 73! We usually have temps over 100! The weather has just been crazy!!!! Last night out of nowhere we had a thunder storm. The fields around us are bare this year because of the cold, VERY wet long, long spring. I'm kind of worried about what the winter will bring o-O

Hot here. But ya know what? Right now I have the AC OFF and the windows OPEN! It's cooler outside than inside right now. Amazing! I am loving this. Nice cool mornings and evenings the next few days but back up again to low 90'2 where it will probably stay til Oct. But I will enjoy this.

We had a really late, incredibly wet spring & summer took its sweet time coming but it's here now & we're good! Our temperatures varied so much this week, it was crazy! One day was 30C/90F, then the next it was down to 20C/70F. I much prefer the 20 to the 30. Yesterday it was downright cold (or so it felt! lol) - I came home from work & put a sweatshirt on & curled up on the couch with a blanket! Haha. Last night, it got down to 10C/50F. I had to actually close my windows & just have them open a teeny bit.

Pam, what part of Manitoba are you in? I'm originally from NE BC. Think Alaska Hwy. I've seen snow every month of the year!

Florida has been crazy too this year! We had a hard week of freeze last December ( that is just nuts for this part of the country), ruined my garden and had to start over in January. All of my fruit trees - mango, key lime, avacado, etc...flowered 3 months early and my magnolia and gardenia haven't stopped flowering since March. We had a crazy drought, so can't figure out all the fruit we got! Who knows what this year will bring, although I can't wait to open up windows and shut off this A/C :)

Kimberly, I'm in southwestern Manitoba, about 20 miles from the US border. Can't say I've seen snow every month of the year....but we've had snow in June (just a teeny bit!) & September...so that leaves only 2 months lol. I'd rather have snow than +30C any day! Too many people disagree with me..but meh.
