Day three of non-stop, won't go away, 24 hour rain. Wish I could send it to Texas...

That's okay. Making the best of in-home days. Yesterday put up some more jam, and had my daughter's friend over. Today will putter around some more, catch up on all my projects, write to my penpal. Still, everything outside is starting to mold and my dog refuses to go out unless we stand out there with her. What's your weather like?

Cool, for this time of year and sunny. This area boasts 300+ days of sun a year. And there's always a wind of some level! We had a really wet, cold spring which made things miserable for farming. And the summer has been very cool. Long time locals say it should be in the 100s and instead it's mostly in the 70s and 80s. But the long term forcast is for a pleasant and long autumn.

Excuse the mess & the noise, my children are making happy memories

Yes Nicole, what a wonderful idea. Send that rain down to Texas and to North Louisiana. They both need rain very badly. I live in SE Louisiana, so I'll be watching for the coming rain from the NE. LOL.
