-Our 12th anniversary was Friday and we were able to spend an entire night all by ourselves. We went to an awesome bluegrass dinner theater and stayed in a theme suite hotel. Just a really great time.

-It's raining here again and it smells divine!

-I have yellow beans! TONS of them, enought to can and eat. I couldn't be more thrilled. This has never happened before lol!

-I have currents falling of the bush because they are so heavy. Tomorrow will bring more jam/jelly making and I am so excited.

-The kids didn't fight today. There was a little squabble but that was it. That alone qualifies as a fantastic weekend!

-The bills are paid for the month and the fridge is stocked.

It's the little things in life that add up don't you think? ;)

Hi Kim:
You really did have a great and fantastic weekend. I've had a great weekend playing (working) in the yard; mowing, pulling weeds, watering the garden & plants, bathing my Luck Dog, trimming trees. You are so right, it is the little things in life that add up to the most happiness, for me. Thanks for sharing.

Yard work is such a beast but one that makes me happy. :) Glad you got so much done this weekend, it makes you feel good doesn't it?

I had a great weekend also. My DH was offered a job at our small local movie Theater. They needed a large cabbage palm tree removed so as to make more parking space. So he removed the palm tree for $200.00 and also brought it home. We replanted it along side some other cabbage palms that we have growing in our yard. What a great bargain. So happy with the tree. Made money and got a free tree!! Worked in my garden. Made a big Mexican dinner Saturday night. Spent time with some friends Sunday and watched the sun set. Great weekend!!!!

A free tree! That is great. :D I love it when you get a double deal like that. One time my husband did a home inspection for $100 and walked away with a wood stove and all the piping. It made our whole winter lol.

Glad you had a great weekend to.

We had a fantastic weekend! Friday we drove out of Moscow and up to the far north east point of Idaho to visit family. The drive up was great! Road trip time! Hubby, myself and our old basset hopped into our vw bug and away we went. Fantastic scenery and good music and just good times. I brought ma and pa in law a bunch of farm fresh flowers and a basket of goodies =)

I'm a bit sun burned and glad to be home tho' =)

Dorinda! You hit the jack pot! Wow! Those trees are gorgeous!
I'm glad that everyone had a good weekend !

My kids went back to school today and that made for a great monday!

The two older girls who are always at one another's throats went on to 3rd grade and kindergarten this morning. This morning was so PEACEFUL!! My kindergartener has the same schedule my oldest has the way the school is set up so they head off in the morning on the bus together, and come back together. Just the peace of mind knowing that missy kinder wasn't going to get on the wrong bus was a huge relief. I am one happy mama this week.
