I thought everyone would like to see my Apple Tree that exists on My tiny farm ( see previous entry and photos under a Farm of My Own). I am growing yellow delicious, "Red Quilts", and Knitted Reds! Most likely you have never heard of these varieties, but they are unique to this tiny farm. Note the photo of an apple barn in photo#2. That barn is where I used to go with my Dad every fall to get apples. Carters Apple Orchard on top of Monticello Mountain in Charlottesville, VA. And that is me with my hat on gathering apples in my apron. I must admit, the "Quilt Reds" make the best pies and the Knitted Reds are just a wonderful versatile variety.
Stay tuned for more peeps into My Tiny Farm.
