I'm on a email list for missouri properties and this one just came up today. I've seen a lot of farm girls who wanted to start a farm out as a single or a childless couple and it looks tailor made for that.

This is a 40 acre parcel out in rural west missouri. It has creeks, a plot of tillable acreage, and a balance of trees and brush, with lots of wildlife (and hunting.) It has some current land leases on it (convenient if 40 acres is too much to work for you right away.)No barn on it (yet) but it has a lovely 1 bed 1 ba "cabin" (looks too nice for a cabin) this appears to be exceptionally fertile land for missouri and appears to be very sustainable.
If this is interesting to you, see for yourself. Again, it's a new listing, so I bet the price will drop.

Beautiful! Here's another I found by accident. I live in Texas and can't relocate for another three years at least. This sounds incredibly inexpensive to us, but maybe land in Minneasota is just much cheaper. We really love it!

Sharon, That is a beautiful piece of property! I use to live in Baudette! Very pretty there and like the ad says the hunting and fishing there are fantastic! Baudette is on the Minnesota-Canada
border. That is an amazing buy for someone!

Hi Sharon, Yes, the area IS as beautiful as it seems. Baudette is a small town but it is very busy tourist area with the great hunting and fishing. I would give anything to move back up there.

This is the one I'm wanting at the moment. http://www.landsofmissouri.com/missouri/?detail=&inv_id=904695

but I also love this one:http://www.landsofmissouri.com/missouri/?detail=&inv_id=935457

And this one is cute too. http://www.landsofmissouri.com/missouri/?detail=&inv_id=918873

It's really too bad I'm not up for moving right now, I've found 2 nice foreclosure homes on 15 m/l acres for less than 70k each O_O
